Wow! Long time i haven't blog. Haha. And I let it rot. Yup, so i've been studying these few days. And of course revising my maths! Woots! Went to study at bukit panjang's mac on friday with yan xiang, and today morning till evening with him at je library. I just came back from my grandma's house after dinner.
On the way home, my dad suddenly ask me " why u talk like so rough?(as in like unpolite)" then i say "u teach one." hahaha... Then he was like "*lmao* i teach one?" Then later he ask "Do you know what you did that made me most angry?" I was like "yea. I broke your clock."
You would be thinking that a clock may seem just like a real simple object, but that clock wasn't that simple. My dad grew up as an engineer, learning how to repair lots and lots of things. And that clock was a clock that he made while he was in vocational school. The very first clock he made. And i must admit its good and the alarm rings very loudly. But unfortunately, when i was in primary sch, around primary 4, my cousin came to my house, and we played in the dark and we accidentally broke it. He had the loud crash on the floor and he came in, and he saw his damaged clock. Of course he would be sad, but he didn't scold me. He just told me things. And he found out what was spoilt after i dropped it, but he said that hardware part was not producing anymore. So yea. It vanished just like that. But he didn't scold me although it carries such a heavy sentimental value.
And I had a previous post about the sunglasses of my dad's company. I broke it like last year. And replacing the lenses alone would cost $300.(I checked it out at a stall that specialises in selling carl zeiss products.) Although father's day has pass and this may seem inappropriate, but i still wanted to type it out because i have a wonderful dad who is so forgiving! Haha. Must cherish. Woots!
